• Text You Submit: Your input text is temporarily sent to our AI partner (OpenAI) for rewriting. We do not store or log your content.
• Local Usage Data: We use browser storage (localStorage) to manage your rewrite limits (e.g., 5 free rewrites/month).
• Payment Information: If you upgrade to Cadence Pro, payments are handled securely via a third-party processor (Paddle). We do not store your credit card details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To rewrite your content using the selected tone
• To track your free usage and prevent abuse
• To communicate essential service updates
• To process payments (via secure third-party provider)

3. Data Retention

We do not retain your text or rewriting history on our servers. All rewrite sessions are ephemeral and exist only during API processing.

4. Third-Party Services

• OpenAI: Used for tone rewriting via API.
• Paddle: Used as our payment provider. Paddle may collect data subject to their own privacy policies.

5. Your Rights

• You may request deletion of any account-linked data (e.g., billing info)
• You may uninstall the extension at any time
